Welcome To The Flock, Brad Nolan

Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds are pleased to announce the signing of Brad Nolan ahead of this weekend's games in New York against Watertown and Elmira.

Nolan is a defenseman who has just finished up his college career playing at Lebanon Valley College in NCAA DIII.

"With some of our injuries piling up we need to bring in a few guys to help fill some holes" head coach Andre Niec said. "I'm very excited to bring (Nolan) in this weekend and see what he can do for us, he was one of the best defensemen on his college team this season."

Nolan was part of a class of students at Lebanon Valley that saw the program move from ACHA to NCAA back in 2016-17. Nolan's production improved on a point per game basis despite the jump up in competition. His college stats across ACHA and NCAA play read 12 goals, 50 assists for 62 points in 91 games as a defenseman.

Carolina is in New York this weekend taking on the Watertown Wolves on Friday and Saturday and then heading to Elmira for a Sunday showdown with the Enforcers.
