Thunderbirds Sign 3 On Emergency Basis Ahead of Friday Game

Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds have announced the signing of three players to emergency PTO's ahead of Friday's game vs the Port Huron Prowlers.

Forward Joe Cangelosi, defenseman Seth Gustin and goaltender Frankie McClendon have all been signed for tonight's game.

The moves come after the FHL suspended six Thunderbirds stemming back from Saturday's 3-0 loss to Mentor.

The Thunderbirds and Prowlers take the first shot of the pre-game shootout at 7:35 P.M. tonight at the Fairgrounds Annex. Tickets are available at the Fairgrounds box office or online by searching Carolina Thunderbirds on TicketMaster.
