Thunderbirds Bring In Another Lebanon Valley College Product, Bryan Hovanec

Elmira, NY - The Carolina Thunderbirds are happy to announce the signing of forward Bryan Hovanec to the active roster ahead of today's afternoon game against the Elmira Enforcers.

Hovanec is a product of Lebanon Valley College just like the newly signed Brad Nolan. Hovanec played four years of college hockey at LVC and registered 104 points in 104 games in the ACHA (freshman year) and NCAA DIII (his remaining college career).

"I think Hovanec will be a good addition to the team given our recent injuries" head coach Andre Niec said. "The fact that he has a former college teammate on our team as well will help him get converted more quickly."

Hovanec is a native of Pittsburgh and spent a few seasons in juniors with both the Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins and the Pittsburgh Vengeance. Hovanec also played for the Bay City Breakers in Massachusetts for multiple years as a junior player.

Carolina takes on the Elmira Enforcers today with a 4:05 puck drop from First Arena. The pregame show for today's game starts at 3:40 on the Carolina Thunderbirds Broadcast Network.
