Thunderbirds add McLean, Manochio in Danville dispersal draft
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Carolina Thunderbirds have added Tory McLean and Dominic Manochio in the Danville Dashers dispersal draft.
McLean spent the 2019-2020 season with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Trojans, appearing in six games.
Manochio spent 37 games of the same 2019-2020 season with Robert Morris University Illinois (who has since merged with Roosevelt University). He then joined Danville late in the season, skating in three games before the FPHL paused its season.
“We’re thrilled to bring Tory and Dom to Carolina,” said Thunderbirds GM Kelly Curl. “These are two players we believe can make a difference in our pursuit of another Commissioner’s Cup title.”
McLean hails from Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Manochio is from Stewartsville, N.J.
