Pilot Engines Wins Dixie Classic Fair Ad Contest

Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds hosted an information table for the duration of the Dixie Classic Fair. The turnout from fans and the public was incredible, and the Thunderbirds staff was happy to see the excitement from the Triad community. During the fair business owners were encouraged to drop off their business cards for a chance to win a free marketing and advertising package with the Thunderbirds for the 2017-2018 season. The Thunderbirds are proud to announce that Pilot Engines Incorporated is the winner.

Family owned and operated since 1983, Pilot Engines, located at 960 W Dodson Mill Rd in Pilot Mountain North Carolina, is a full service engine machining and building shop. With over 300 years of combined experience on the shop floor and live customer service representatives, Pilot Engines is your one stop shop for engine maintenance, creation, and customization. 

Fans can hear about Pilot Engines this season on the Thunderbirds Radio network, as well as see them in the stands and advertised in the game-day program. 

The Thunderbirds Training camp begins Wednesday, October 18th, 7 pm at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex. Also make sure to tune into the inaugural Coach's Show, Tuesday, October 17th at 6 pm on WTOB 980 am and 96.3 fm and streaming online at http://www.wtob980.com/ 

The regular season will begin October 27th and 28th on the road against the Danville Dashers, and the home season will start November 3rd and 4th. Friday, November 3rd's game is brought to you by the City of Winston Salem and the first 2000 fans in attendance will get a commemorative Thunderbirds Coin. Saturday's game is brought to you by WTOB and Pat's Body Shop and Towing, and the first 1000 fans in attendance will receive a special Thunderbirds Foam Puck.
