Thunderbirds statement on league postponement

To our flock, 

Thank you for your continued support during this trying time. Your patience and resiliency is greatly appreciated through this COVID-19 pandemic. 

Yesterday afternoon the Federal Prospects Hockey League announced the postponement of its regular season start date to January 15, 2021. The Thunderbirds and the FPHL are dedicated to the safety of our players, staff, and fans and believe that this new date allows us to play hockey in the reasonable environment. 

The Carolina Thunderbirds will abide by city, state and federal guidelines regarding venue capacity. Information on ticketing, scheduling, and the current affairs of our team will be up-to-date as we receive it on our team website and via our official social media channels. 

From our entire front office, we sincerely appreciate your continued support of your reigning FPHL champions and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex soon.
