Thunderbirds release statement on ticketing and potential refunds

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- With the Federal Prospects Hockey League’s announcement that it is pausing the 2019-20 season, please see information below about the Carolina Thunderbirds’ ticketing refund policy.


The remaining four Carolina Thunderbirds home games have been postponed. Tickets already purchased for a postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled. If games are not played or played in an empty arena, fans will have the option to receive a credit for a future game or a refund.


If you require an immediate ticket refund, please direct your request to the vendor from whom you purchased your tickets.


The Winston-Salem Fairgrounds box office will be closed for the next two weeks based on the city of Winston-Salem’s decision for the safety and health of all staff and patrons. We apologize for this inconvenience.


Once re-opened, the box office can be reached at (336) 774-8880 and will issue in-person refunds during their operating hours, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Season ticket and group ticket purchases will also remain valid for the rescheduled games. Persons with questions regarding these tickets should contact the Carolina Thunderbirds office at 336-774-4625.
