Thunderbirds announce partnership with Recursav
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Carolina Thunderbirds and the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds are proud to announce a new partnership with Recursav, an audio/visual provider based in the Triad.
Recursav will be providing in-arena upgrades to the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex, notably upgrading the sound system inside the arena.
“The Thunderbirds and the fairgrounds are excited to partner with Recursav for the next three years to upgrade our sound system throughout the annex and to bring a better fan experience,” said Thunderbirds general manager Jimmy Milliken.
Chief among the renovations, Recursav will be removing the sound horn from the Zamboni door side of the arena and will install a new surround-sound system to better accomdate the music and public address system of the Annex.
“Recursav ownership is passionate about hockey in the triad and is excited to begin their partnership with the Carolina Thunderbirds issuing ongoing support as the Official A/V Provider of the Carolina Thunderbirds,” said Recursav team member Nate Rhoades who is the lead on the project.
Renovations are set to begin at the end of the season and will be in place for next year’s home opener.
