Chase Fallis Returning To The Thunderbirds
Winston-Salem N.C. - The Carolina Thunderbirds are happy to announce the return of forward Chase Fallis for the 2018-19 season.
Fallis, 27, returns to Winston-Salem for his second season with the Thunderbirds. He has spent his entire FHL career to this point with Carolina.
"I'm excited to be back in Winston, I love playing here and the support we get from the fans is amazing" Fallis said. "We should have a strong team this year with a lot of key guys coming back and I can't wait to get back on the ice with everyone."
Fallis played in 35 games with the Thunderbirds last season registering 24 points (10G-14A). The Calgary native spent his entire junior and college career north of the border with stops in Calgary (AMHL) and Okotoks (HJHL) before spending five years at Concordia University of Edmonton. While in Okotoks Fallis was a part of three HJHL championship teams.
"Chase is a really solid, good defensive guy" Head Coach Andre Niec said. "He's a team player, a great presence to have in the locker room and I think with him we're gonna have a big year this year. I'm happy to have him back."
